Sensei Dane Grandt

I am a 6th degree Black Belt in Judo, and a 3rd degree Black Belt in Akido. Among my achievements are: over 40 years experience in Judo, head coach of the LSU Judo team, USJA referee, and USJA national certified rank examiner.

It has been very gratifying to help develop our practitioners standing techniques as well as instructing any of our students interested in Judo. In addition to teaching adults I am extremely excited about our new Kid's Judo program! It's the only Kid's Judo program in the Baton Rouge area! What an amazing opportunity for our children.

Whether you have any or no martial arts experience anyone will truly enjoy the classes and get a great workout. We have students of all ages and levels of experience. I’m very excited to share my Judo knowledge with all of our students. See you on the mat!
