Beautiful gym and mats! Kevin and Peygan are great instructors and I have been training under Kevin for 4 years. I highly recommend you stop by and talk to them about drop ins or signing up to learn Jiu Jitsu! Very welcoming to everyone!

Professor Kevin (owner) is very knowledgeable and pushes you to better yourself! Professor Peygan and Coach Sydney do awesome with the kids! Facilities are top notch. The mats are very large and they keep them clean.

Called ahead to make sure it was okay and Professor Kevin couldn't have been more welcoming. Top notch instruction and fun welcoming training partners. Best gym in Baton Rouge hands down, Professor Kevin has built a great gym culture where anyone can be comfortable and feel safe training. Kevin’s BJJ knowledge is world class. All of the assistant instructors at Bayou are top notch and bring a variety of different styles and skill sets to their teaching. I’d highly recommend Bayou to anyone interested in jiu jitsu!

Amazing BJJ school! Professor Kevin is friendly, knowledgeable and has a great way of teaching BJJ technique. All the students there are friendly and respectful. Great atmosphere and very clean mats and changing room. I’m a novice student from out-of-town. I stopped by to train for a day and everyone made me feel very welcome. I’ll definitely be back to visit Bayou Jiu Jitsu!

Bayou Jiu Jitsu is my go to place to train! Professor Kevin is professional, knowledgeable and cares about everyone who walks through his doors. Amazing technique! I always leave knowing more after training there. All of the students treat me with nothing but love and respect. I recommend Bayou Jiu Jitsu to anyone that wants quality training!

Professor Kevin and the rest of the students at the midday class I visited were excellent! I am just passing through Baton Rouge, and am glad I stopped to train. Very welcoming, friendly, great instruction, and savage training partners! I am lucky enough to travel and visit different academies frequently, and I recommend Bayou Jiu Jitsu & Self Defense to anyone.

Cannot speak highly enough of my visit to Bayou JJ&SD. Went for a private unstructured session with a few friends to learn some self defense moves and the like. Gym was very clean and well kept. Coach Kevin was very willing to help us learn and teach us hands on what we wanted to know. You can tell Coach Kevin is very passionate about what he does.
